La Paz

The Bolivian capital will no doubt be one of the cities which will surprise you the most during your Bolivian tour. It is home to approximately 2 million inhabitants, if we include the city of El Alto, located at an altitude of 13,000 feet in the Andean plateau, whereas the rich neighborhoods are located at the bottom of the valley, some 3,200 feet below. Sucre

Without a doubt the most beautiful city in Bolivia: a colonial city boasting some stunning white buildings and tile roofs, with the charm of a peaceful provincial city. Its architecture, tranquility, its spring weather and medium altitude make it one of the most pleasant stops in Bolivia. Potosi

Potosi is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site due to its historical importance between the 16th and 18th century. The amazing quantity of silver contained in Cerro Rico, the mountain overlooking Potosi, fuelled the splendor of the Spanish crown for over 2 centuries. Copacabana

For want of a sea, Bolivians have the incredible Lake Titicaca, and the village of Copacabana has become a makeshift seaside resort. Located at an altitude of 12,400 feet, Copacabana is the starting point for excursions over to the Island of the Sun, the biggest island on Lake Titicaca.
